Santa Barbara Coastal Area

Situated on a south-facing section of coastline, the longest such section on the West Coast of the United States, Santa Barbara lies between the steeply rising Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean and is part of the Central Coast of California. It ranges from the southern city of Carpinteria, where there is the “safest beach on earth”, to the north end of Goleta and Gaviota where there is world famous surfing at The Ranch, only accessible with entrance into the private community. Santa Barbara county beaches are some of the most beautiful in all of California.

There are many beach front properties along the coast including the beautiful stretch along Padero Lane, the Biltmore area, the Mesa and Hope Ranch. Some properties sit right on the sand, others are high above the water on the bluffs. Views of the beautiful Channel Islands can be seen from every beach and add significant beauty to the setting. Prices for such properties start around $2,000,000 and go up from there depending on size, location, and construction.
